West Milton, Ohio

 

 

Worshipful Brother Stiltner was born in South Williamson, Kentucky in 1984 to the late Larry D. and Henrietta (Bowman) Stiltner.

 

He attended Troy High School in Troy, Ohio and graduated in 2002. While there, he met Amanda, and the two were married in 2006. They reside in Troy, and have three children, Kaitlyn (2008), Alexis (2012), and Scarlett (2017).

 

John Attended Edison Community College in Piqua, Ohio and graduated in 2015 as an Honor Graduate in Electrical Engineering Automation and Robotics. In October of 2014, he was invited and accepted into the Alpha Lambda Eta Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa, an honors society for two-year colleges. He is currently employed as an Electrical Controls Engineer at Perfecto Industries in Piqua, Ohio.

 

John was raised as a Master Mason on April 20, 2013, in West Milton Lodge 577, where he served as Worshipful Master in 2018, 2022, and 2023. He currently serves West Milton Lodge # 577 as Secretary. In 2019 he served as Excellent High Priest of Franklin Chapter # 24, Royal Arch Masons of Ohio, where he currently serves as Treasurer and Royal Arch Captain. From 2020 to 2022, he served as Eminent Commander of Coleman Commandery # 17, Knights Templar of Ohio. He is currently serving Sidney Commandery # 46 as Captain General. In 2021, he served as Illustrious Master of Franklin Council # 14, Royal and Select Masons of Ohio, where he currently serves as Recorder. In June of 2022, Worshipful Brother Stiltner was invited to join Ohio Priory # 18 Knights of the York Cross of Honor, and was dubbed a Knight in Marysville, Ohio.

 

He also has memberships in Alpha Council # 97, Allied Masonic Degrees, where he served as Sovereign Master in 2022, the Valley of Dayton, Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite, Antioch Shrine, in Dayton Ohio where he is a former member of the Antioch Brass Band and the Antioch Roadrunners, and Irish Council # 67, Knight Masons.

 

From 2019 to 2022, Worshipful Brother Stiltner was appointed as the Great 3rd Masonic District’s Education Representative to the Grand Lodge Education Committee. In 2022, he was appointed as District Marshal, in 2023 as District Vice President, and is currently serving as District President.

 

Worshipful Brother Stiltner and his family attend First Baptist Church Troy, where he volunteers on the Audio-Visual Team, plays bass guitar for the Praise and Worship Team, and is a Basic Archery Instructor for their Centershot Youth Ministry team.
